There’s nothing more exciting than when celebrity worlds collide. Dirt reports that Leonardo DiCaprio recently purchased Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita’s home in Los Feliz, California—which was also previously owned by Gwen Stefani and Robert Pattinson.
The Titanic star paid $7.1 million, meaning that the Modern Family star and his husband made quite the profit, considering that they bought it for just $4.6 million back in 2013. The 1928 Spanish Colonial–style property is a four-bedroom space with a bright, cyan-trimmed exterior that spans nearly 5,000 square feet.
Past the giant gates, long driveway, and a steep flight of stairs is the estate’s original hand-carved door that’s lined with lovely bougainvillea. The rotunda-shaped entryway features an intricately crafted railing complemented by a detailed stenciled ceiling and terra-cotta tile floors from when the house was first built.
Moving farther into the space, there’s a two-story library complete with bold teal walls and mustard-colored furniture, a unique color combination that works. The star couple nabbed the former Will & Grace set designer Peter Gurksi to design and furnish the rooms. “I said, ‘Here’s my number if you need help buying anything,’ and he called me about a chair,” Gurski told AD of how he started working with the duo. The interior designer later added, “Of all the couples I’ve worked with, their design relationship evolved the most.”

Other star qualities of the home include a media room, a hillside swimming pool, a tiled dining terrace, and, of course, spectacular views of the Griffith Observatory. It totally makes sense why DiCaprio shelled out for the premium property. Plus, the Oscar winner is known to be a fan of Spanish-style homes, as he previously owned one near L.A.’s Silver Lake Reservoir.
