This Is Your Chance to Be Cast on a Home Renovation Show

Home improvement TV is a not-so-guilty pleasure for many of us. But have you ever thought about appearing on a renovation show as a cast member? If so, Netflix has a sweet opportunity for you. Earlier this week, the streaming giant announced its “World’s Largest Reality Casting Call,” which is an open invitation for people all over the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada to head to this website and submit a one-minute audition video for any of multiple hit shows.

You can apply for as many shows as you want, and they aren’t limited to ones about home. If you’re looking for love, there’s Love Is Blind or Indian Matchmaking, and if you’re hoping to win money and potentially find reality television infamy, there’s Too Hot to Handle or The Circle. But for anyone who just wants to give their home a facelift, your best bet is one of these are four options: Queer Eye, in which the five hosts give deserving people complete life makeovers, including a refresh to their living spaces designed by Bobby Berk; Dream Home Makeover, in which the husband-and-wife team behind Studio McGee tackle design projects; Get Organized with The Home Edit, in which Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin impart their meticulous, Instagram-friendly way of arranging a home; and finally, a new show called Sparking Joy with Marie Kondo, in which the OG queen of tidying up helps people find what “spark joy” in their lives.

Later this month and into early September, Netflix will also be sending out a truck to make stops in Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, Nashville, and New York City, so that people can submit their videos in person. Best of luck!
