Priyanka Chopra Jonas Reveals How She and Nick Jonas Make High-Low Decor Work

Ever wonder what it would be like to go to happy hour at Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas’s house? It certainly beats having another drink over Zoom, and we’re here to confirm that these two know how to put an event together. (Their 2018 wedding weekend alone is proof that they’re masters at hosting.)

“It’s a big deal, and I love getting an ice bucket and putting out various things so people can choose their own adventure,” Priyanka tells AD of their get-togethers. In fact, she’s become quite the mixologist since becoming the creative advisor for Anheuser-Busch’s spiked seltzer brand, BON V!V, last year. “I love being able to make cocktails fun, and the seltzers are an amazing base for anything you want to make,” she says.

Just as she puts personality into her beverages, Priyanka follows suit when it comes to interior design. Luckily, she and Nick couldn’t be more in sync. “I was really lucky in that I found someone who was totally understanding and accepting of my preferences,” he previously told AD. “She loved and accepted them in a way that you would want that person to do. I feel the same way with her life. And it’s great when two very individual people can become one and create a common ground of creativity.”

For more details about their home and what Priyanka is really like as a bartender, read ahead and see that they don’t mess around when it comes to drinks or design.

Architectural Digest: What are some of your happy hour tips?

Priyanka Chopra Jonas: I’m a fan of a nice charcuterie board and snacks, and other things to jazz up your drink like mint, cilantro, chocolate bitters, and a variety of other items to make it more fun. I also love BON V!V’s Pear Elderflower because it’s such a unique flavor.

Where is your favorite place at home to sit back, unwind, and have a drink?

My favorite room is an outdoor-indoor family room. It has an incredible view of all of L.A. and it’s right in front of a pool. That’s also where I wrote my book and do a lot of ideating because I see it as an extension of the sky. It’s one with nature and I love sitting outdoors in the sun.

Did your aesthetic change when you got married?

It didn’t change, actually. It’s been pretty much the same for at least the last two decades. The home is such an integral part of my existence because, like everyone else, I feel a sense of peace when I come back.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas tied the knot in a three-day ceremony in 2018.
